Xbox hard drive keeps going back to unformatted

Hello,

my xbox 360s has developed a rather annoying fault where as a workaround I am having to use a USB stick as the storage device.

Essentially every so oftten sometimes mid game my xbox will restart and my xbox will show the hard drive as unformatted. I have formatted it multiple times and tried removing and re inserting the hard drive. I have even replaced ty hard drive But it keeps
happening. It will sucesfully format and work for sometimes hours sometimes a day until it will go back to an unformatted state. Any help please as a 32gb USB stick simply doesn't hold enough.

Format Hard Drive

I'm having issues formatting my hard drive for the xbox 360S. Hard drive keeps showing up "unformatted" so I format the hard drive and nothing happens, Xbox keeps saying that it is unformatted. Any solutions to this problem??

 

Hard drive keeps telling me too format?

The other day i turned on my Xbox 360 and no profiles were found, So i went to settings then memory and it says my hard drive was unformatted. So i entered my serial number and formatted my hard drive. After i did that i restarted my xbox and went back into
memory and it still says unformatted. I repeated the formatting process mutiple times now and it still says unformatted any ideas on how to fix my hard drive???

 

The circuit board sounds like it is acting up. Might want to think about a repair or new console.
