Xbox Halo Edition Causing Me Extreme Hardship After Update

I have the Halo edition xbox one and it makes that really crazy loud sound when you push the button upon startup and shutdown. I then learned that by turning it on by the controller it will not make the noise. This was a must for me because I work different
shifts than my fiancé and our tv and xbox in the living room is right next to our bedroom door. Therefore when she is asleep I could usually use headphones and ninja silently turn on my xbox and play. Since the update, even when using the controller, It makes
that extremely loud startup and shutdown noise at like 3 am and annoying everyone in the whole house. I have been forced to not play because in the daytime my girl wants me to spend time with her instead of gaming, which I get. Now when I try playing, it
wakes her up and she has stormed out of the bedroom yelling at me for like a week now, then when I finally go to bed she wakes up and wants to watch hulu and it wakes me up and i cant go back to sleep. We are having fights about waking everyone up 2 times
a night (startup and shutdown) I am super easy going and never post or complain, I just deal with things, no problem. But something has to be done about this. When I bought this thing I never thought ever i would have to make the decision between Angering
my now sleep deprived family, or turning something i love into a $600 halo edition paperweight. Maybe get some custom halo edition earplugs? Or limited halo edition family counseling with purchase? I also cant help but think of the kid I used to be and would
sneak on my video games when my parents were asleep....but nowadays it must be like "yes, they are finally asleep, now I can sneak on my XBO....BTTRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! " Seriously though what are my options here? I have found no way to disable it and
I refuse to void the warranty for this $600 machine.

When you first saw Halo ...

i bought halo with the xbox in january about 2 months after it came out...i've played other games, but...its always been about halo for me...and i've already paid for the limited edition of halo 4...

 

I have not recieved my Halo Wars Definitive Edition code.

I preordered Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition last week, which is supposed to come Halo Wars Definite Edition early access. Apparently the code for Halo Wars Definite Edition is supposed to be sent via message soon after preordering Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition,
but I have still not received my code. I was told by Xbox Customer Support chat to post my issue here, and you guys would be able to send me a code. Thanks in advance for your help!

 

Haha that BTTTRRRRRR made me laugh. A few people are in the same boat as you try heading over to
xbox.uservoice.com/.../363186--new-ideas to see if people want a disable option or make your own suggestion.
