Xbox graphics going funny

Playing the new call of duty on split screen on my original xbox one the graphics for top half of screen go all weird all break up into triangles and flash all over the screen i have a capture of this i think it maybe a hardware fault as used to happen
to old 360s before red ring of death but only happens on split screen and only this game

If it only happens on split screen and on this game, could it be that split screen mode and a new COD game is pushing the system to its limit? Split screen gaming can be taxing on a system. Hopefully it is not a hardware failure issue but worth keeping an
eye on it when playing other games.

Hey! The same thing happens with me! Probally a bug in the game, i play on a Xbox One S and wherever Picadilly loads in, some poligons start to randomly have a seizure across the screen, also if the second player uses the Dead Silence perk, the "glow" of
the second screen takes over the first screen, creating a white filter.

Looks like no one tested split-screen on Xbox before launch...

Hi,

It's either faulty or overheating. Where do you have the console located and do games look like this as soon as you start playing or manifest later on?

If the console is in a cool place (not inside closed off cabinet) with lots of good airflow and the games look like this from the moment they start, you should immediately return the console for an exchange.

The second image with the lines is a clear indication of faulty graphics hardware.
