    I'm moving my attempts at getting help to the forum so I don't have to repeat myself a gazillion times.

    I signed up for a 30 day trial of Xbox Gold. The account shows up on the xbox and on microsoft.com, but multiplayer games still tell me to sign up for xbox gold. I chatted with
    [Mod Removed]. in xbox support who told me your system thinks my IP is in Canada which doesn't match my profile (I'm in Florida). Go to IP Location Finder - Geolocation and plug in my IP:
    [Mod Removed]. There are 5 geolocation databases. 4 show Florida, 1 shows Canada - the MaxMind database. Now go to MaxMind.com and enter the same IP. It comes back as Florida. My account doesn't work because your version of the database is
    out of date.

    I've spent 7 hours on the phone with my ISP and having three people try to change my IP, changing the MAC address on my cable modem, breaking my phone service, and being told a static IP would require a whole new account and cost an extra $15 a month
    by someone who first had to go find out what a static IP even is, followed by another hour on the phone with Microsoft account support with someone who was more interested in my security verification settings and didn't even know how to see the subscriptions
    associated with my account (EA and Xbox gold) - I had to tell HIM how to get to it, then did the standard 'unplug everything', which by the way didn't help, before getting disconnected. Unless somebody has another idea that is relevant and might actually work
    (please, please do) - and by the way, I've already gone through all of the time/date/location settings on the xbox and even tried changing my account location to match my IP's location - I'm not going to purchase a subscription that I can't even use. Nobody
    I've talked to seems to believe that there is an IP location conflict, but I've already told you how to verify it. I know it sounds crazy, but that's what I was told by Microsoft, and then I confirmed it with my own research. So I believe Karl that there is
    a conflict, because I can see it for myself. I can't confirm that it's keeping my account from working - you guys will need to do that. Check with the developers who wrote the authentication service if you have to, just please look into it.

    One other thing - I don't know if it's related or not. XBox Gold is supposed to work for other family members who have accounts. My wife and daughter also have outlook.com accounts on the xbox and the accounts are all linked together as a family, and this is
    the only console any of us have accounts on so its the home xbox for all of us. Xbod Gold only shows up under subscriptions for my profile. I don't know if that's how it's supposed to work or not, but I thought I'd mention it because it could be related.

    The division- agent origins pack

    I redeemed the code for the 4 skin packs it shows up that i own it on the xbox website under my games, but when i go into manage game under the division the pack is nowhere to be found in the xbox store

  3. Xbox Live Gold help

    So yesterday I purchased the 12 month Xbox Live Gold subscription on my Xbox One and it shows up on my account under subscriptions. But when I try to play any game online a thing pops up and says I need to have Gold but I already have it. I tried removing
    my account and restarting my Xbox One like I've seen some people suggest but that hasn't worked. Could someone please help me solve this problem.

    Sorry to hear it. First off I wanted to mention that you should never post personal info on the forums. Your IP address and the link are yours and should not be shared in public forums. A moderator should remove that for you shortly.

    As for the issue you described. Currently your account is showing as Silver, not Gold. If you have just recently applied the membership please be aware that the system can take some time to catch up to you. Give it a day or so to see what happens. Otherwise,
    you'll need to continue dealing with phone support as this is considered a billing issue that no one here can help with.

    As you live in the US you can dial 1-800-469-9269 to speak with a live agent.

  5. As per what my husband said we've already called and as a matter of fact gotten disconnected not once but twice trying to get some help with this matter. We spent hours talking to our isp tech support. In the account it does show the time is ticking away
    on a 30 day gold trial. Please explain how exactly this is a billing issue when tech support says it's because our ip shows in Canada in one database. Someone there should be able to get it sorted out. As far as the account taking a few days to show gold...this
    is 2016 and if I pay money I expect to get what I pay for not have a day or 2 or more taken away because of issues on their end so I assume they're smart enough to add that time to the back end unless they want to end up like a certain sub company that got
    sued for shorting people what they paid for. We've already spent more time on trying to figure this out than it deserves.

    The reason I show up as a gold member is because I purchased a gold 1 month subscription after this happened so I could continue to play. And that's the only subsripton that shows up under my account.
