    Xbox Gold renew promotion not working


    my 12 month subscription to gold was due to expire in a couple of weeks and my Xbox dashboard showed me a promotion to renew early at A 33% discount. When I tried to redeem this promotion it charged me the full $59.99 instead of $39.99. There is an issue
    with being able to redeem with promotion. I was directed by customer support to this forum for assistance.

    haven't received my free game

    Promotion: 1 free game out of 4 if you renew xbox live gold for a year.

    Date renewed: 2/28/2011

    Promotion item not yet received: 1 free game (Fable 3)

    my xbox gold is not working and is paid up till feb 4 2017

    Had to get xbox replaced under warranty, and now my gold is not working. Says to renew.

    Also, $10 a month is the standard price of 1 month of gold. If you purchase a promotion, you'll get the promotion price and then when it renews, it renews at the regular price.

    You do qualify for Rewards points for making LIVE Gold renewals, but I believe that is 200 points for a 12 month renewal. There was a promotion for 600 MSP for renewing Gold. May I ask, how did you renew recently? Let me know and I'll have a better idea
    of what promotion you qualified for. Thanks!
