Game Pass Ultimate includes Xbox Live Gold. If you cancelled Ultimate, then you have cancelled Gold. You will have to purchase Gold again.

What happens is when you buy xbox live gold the game pass you speak of combines with the xbox live gold you have

so in other words when you cancel your xbox subscription it also cancels both your xbox live gold and game pass also

Purchasing Xbox Game pass Ultimate, cancels your gold membership and game pass membership, and replaces it with ultimate which includes both gold and game pass.

If you are referring to losing Xbox Live Gold because you cancelled Game Pass Ultimate, there is nothing that can be done. It clearly states that Xbox Live Gold will be converted to Game Pass Ultimate days and can not be reverted and that canceling Game

You can cancel your Game Pass Ultimate membership at any time, and you will

Did you have just standard Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate? Ultimate includes Gold so cancelling it will cancel your Gold.
