    Xbox gold: One month not working?


    So I recently redeemed an Xbox live gold code online the website. It redeemed and it's been almost a full 24 hour and my live wont show up and I tried to restart and full shutdown my Xbox. It allows me to download Xbox live gold games but when I try to play
    online multiplayer, it redirects me to the gold page. I think it's maybe because I accidentally pressed yearly subscription and gave me a 14 days extension. I would like to void the 14 days if this decides to fix the problem.

    Never mind, fixed now after viewing forums. Fix:

    1. Go to settings on Xbox one

    2. Go to account

    3. Remove current account linked with xbox live

    4. Restart Xbox

    5. Login to your Xbox again

    6. Fixed!

    Xbox trial redemption problem

    Cloud storage won't work with a 2 day gold trial. Requires at least a full month of Xbox Live Gold.

    If you have Gold on the One you also have Gold on the 360 if you log into the console with the account that has Gold. Buy a month of Gold on the One and use that to load save games into the cloud and access them from the Xbox One. Backward compatible games
    won't transfer, they need to be downloaded to Xbox One from within My Games and Apps.

    Xbox One Gold membership doesn't work.

    FYI: Gold trial worked yesterday, when I added it. Today it refused to work on Xbox One even though it said I had 1 month of gold on subscriptions page of Microsoft website.

    Removing account, reboot, adding, logout/login several times did nothing. Xbox 360 said no gold either.

    In the end the rep, during a chat session, had to cancel the month of gold and give me a code for another month, which worked a minute after I redeemed the code at xbox.com.

    Xbox Live. GOLD.

    It works out cheaper to buy a 12 month Xbox Live Gold subscription, than it does to buy 12 one month Xbox Live subscriptions.

    Just something to keep in mind.
