Xbox Gold Offer not working

Hi Everyone,

My Xbox Gold runs out on the 17th of this month. I have been offered on my xbox dashboard to renew it for 12 months for only £26.50 However, when I click the link and choose 12 months, it is still wanting me to pay £39.99

Is anyone else having this issue and can someone at Microsoft contact me about this.

Unfortunately no one in the forums will be able to assist with this as it's billing related and the greater majority of users here have no special access. They're gamers, just like you.

You mention having spoken with a Chat agent, have you tried speaking with phone support agent? That's where you can get a speedier response.

Hey LZG!

So promotions such as this are sometimes for a limited time and if you miss the window for the promotion then you won't be able to get it. Also usually at the bottom of the page the promotion is on you can find the conditions for the promotion. For example
the promotion may state One month of Xbox Live Gold for 2 $ but it is only available if the account has never had Xbox Live Gold in the past.

I see what you mean but it only appeared yesterday and if it wasn't valid surely it would have been taken down off my dashboard by now

I was told by MS chat there would be a speedy reply and help with my issue. It's already the 17th and my Gold expires the 24th. Its really sad how customers who pay hard earned money can't even get help when offers/games or products don't work as advertised,
its a good way to push players over to Playstation!

Thanks for your response, if the offer is still seen on the console I recommend hard resetting the console by holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds to turn it off, and then powering it back on again.
