Xbox gold not sharing to new account

If this is the account you're using, You don't show as having gold. It sounds like the other Xbox has another account on it that does have gold that you have been sharing. You would need your own gold subscription or share gold with someone else on the new
console.

You can only share your gold with one xbox one console. However, because the account itself still has gold, as an option, you can share the gold with one console, and play with the gold account on the other. Also, as long as you are logged in to a gold account,
you automatically share the gold, so if you keep the gold account signed in on the unsharing xbox one, it will still effectively share gold.

I remember when creating a new account netted you a free month of Xbox Live, or certain physical games included a trial which usually lasted 14 days. I don't think that MS does that anymore, but a great way to share Xbox Live Gold to accounts on one Xbox
is by having one of the accounts linked to that Xbox as it's "Home Xbox," and have it Share Gold to the other accounts.

I think I see the problem. The only account that is sharing is your Son's account since he is on your home console. Your account is on your daughter's but it's not your home console so it wont share. Does your family have a main Xbox they use? If so, I think
they will all have to play on that console for Gold to share.

For comparison my set up is:

Xbox 1X (Main):

My Account- With Gold

Spouse account - Without Gold (HOME)

Gold is shared if I am logged in

Xbox One(2)

My Account- WIth Gold (HOME)

Spouse account - WIthout Gold

Gold is shared without me logged in

Wait I thought we got 5 accounts to share with the new gold? It's has to be on the same xbox? Currently I have xbox family for 99.99/yr...I get 4 accounts I can use on any xbox. I thought I read we will now get 5 accounts for 59.99 that shares gold but
I didnt' see it had to be on 1 xbox.
