Xbox Gold not recognised

Hi, several hours ago i inputted a pre-paid 3 month game card into my Xbox One console. The code was accepted but unfortunately since then i have been unable to access anything Gold-based.

I went onto xbox.com and checked my subscription and it confirms i do have Xbox Live Gold for 3 months. I also went into the subscription on my Xbox One console and it confirms there also.

I have signed out of my profile on xbox.com - Made no difference, and also deleted my profile off my console which had zero effect also.

Xbox gold not recognised in game

hi.

I just renewed my gold today with a prepaid card. My account online appears to reflect a gold membership, expiring 16/11/2017. However, none of my games recognise the gold status.

I have performed a cache clear and removed/downloaded my gamer profile. No joy.

It's funny, because the system will let me download games with gold titles and accuractely records a gold suscription on the settings page and within memberships.

I'd appreciate some advice. I was really looking forward to playing battlefront tonight.... already wasted two hours here.

As a precaution, if you submit payment with a credit card there will be a forced automatic renewal option. Although some sources say you can remove this online - that feature is broken and the only current way to remove this is by calling their support at:
Toll free: (800) 4MY-XBOX or (800) 469-9269

If you opt not to cancel the auto-renew, by the time you see the charge on your bank account it may be too late to request a refund. (For myself it wasn't charged until 30 days after the 'billing date')
