    XBOX Gold Membership Issue


    Hello!

    I'm new here so I'm not really sure if I'm posting correctly, but I need some help. I've just bought a prepaid gold membership card, redeemed the code (it allowed me to download even the CORBULO emblem, which was a bonus), but my account has not been updated
    yet. How can I check what the problem is?

    My son has a gold membership on his 360. I don't have a gold membership. If I add my son's profile to my new Xbox One, then it will give me gold membership as well?

    Hello Mandela1984 If you entered the code on the website, it can take a while to fully update on your account. You may want to wait
    1 Day, If you have not already done so, Please follow these Steps.

    1. On the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings, and then select System.
    2. Select Network Settings.
    3. Select Wired Network or Wireless Network.
    4. Select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

    Post back and let us now how it goes.

    Head over to Sign in to your Microsoft account and verify that, under the 'subscriptions' tab, it has updated there to reflect the new subscription. If it has then it is just a matter of time before
    it updates elsewhere.

    To force the console to update with the latest info, try Prince's method above. That usually works.

    Thanks for the answers. I've checked the XBOX live connection (via wireless) and everything is up and connected. I've also checked the subscription tab in commerce section, but there's nothing there either. Just the message that my previous membership status
    has been downgraded because it had expired. Anyway, i'll wait for a day and then check again and get back to you!

    Hello...I'm back with the problem...it's been almost 24 hours and still no change...the subscription section has not been updated, i didn't receive any message regarding my account and, of course i can't use the code to try again. And, because of the hour
    difference with the Pacific time, i can't get any support from the call centers. Any suggestion on what i should do next?

    you said your 2nd code for corbule worked fine,

    yet your gt isnt showing active Gold.

    was this different yesterday?

    could you try redeem your Gold code again?

    There aren't actually 2 coded, but only one. After i've filled the code in the redeem code section, a message appeared telling me that i am entitled to download also the corbulo emblem...after the download was done,nothing else happened. I was back in the
    menu with no message regarding the account status. I checked the account status several times since then and i am still silver user with no access to gold options. When trying to use the same code again, i am told that the code was already redeemed, so i can't
    use it again. Maybe clearing the cache and trying again is another solution. I've heard it worked for issues with games' redeem codes

  10. I think you are talking about the Xbox Live 12+1 (13) Month Gold Membership and it Includes Halo 4 Corbulo Emblem. It Looks Like This,

    When you look at the back there should be (2) Codes. One code is for the
    Xbox Live 12+1 (13) Month Gold Membership And the Second code should be for the
    Halo 4 Corbulo Emblem. You do not get the Xbox Live 12+1 (13) Month Gold Membership And the
    Halo 4 Corbulo Emblem All rolled into one Xbox Live Code. There should be "Two" Xbox Codes on the back, Can you look at the Product again.

    Sorry you are having this issue. Are you aware that on the Xbox One all members of a family can enjoy the benefits of one Gold membership? That means that if you have a Gold membership you just go to Settings and add the children to the Family and they
    will have access to the Gold as well. No need to purchase extra memberships anymore.

    You are showing as a Gold membership holder. Please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down. That should solve the issue.
