    Xbox gold live won't recognize that I have xbox live


    I loaded a prepaid xbox gold live card onto my account. When I try to sign in and click on play online, i get an error that says "the current profile cannot play on xbox live." I received the email confirming my card was loaded to my account. I have checked
    my status online and it says I have an active xbox live status that started yesterday. What is the problem?

    Xbox Live Gold won't recognize that I have Live

    I recently bought an 6 Month Xbox Live Gold Membership from Amazon, and my account says I redeemed the said account.

    So I tried playing 2 different games online, and both of them said I didn't have live and asked me to buy it. I have reset the console, waited for a while, nothing.

    Can somebody help me?

    You are showing up as gold here. Try removing your profile from the console then re-downloading it. Let us know how it goes. Good Luck!

    Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, as stated in our FAQ:

    We see that you are not receiving Gold Status this month due to your subscription being a promotional Gold subscription for 1 month. Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, so your free 1 month is not eligible. From our FAQ:
