xbox gold issues - says I need gold, but claims I already have a subscription when redeeming ...

So yeah the problems right in the title. Signed into my xbox, and it's telling me I haven't got gold anymore. It's not due to run out for a couple months yet & i've had no emails or messages to tell me.

Tried redeeming a 7 day trial code I got with cod ghosts but then it says I already have a gold subscription? so i'm locked in an endless cycle of being told I need gold - then being told I already have it and repeat.

Anybody care to help? This is a new fail in over 6 years of xbox gold love

I have a gold code which needs redeeming however when i go to do so it says i have already got gold but i cant join parties and online games

Unfortunately you're experiencing a problem that a few of us are happening and one which is largely being ignored. I haven't seen a response from anyone on here that is an explanation as to why it's happening or what is being done to solve it.

My gold subscription has also disappeared and it's been over a week but no resolution. I keep getting told that tech support are looking into it and that by Friday 21st March I would either have by subscription reinstated or an update as to what is happening
and when it will be fixed.

Obviously yesterday has come and gone and no update.....

 

Hello elderlycrab , indeed this is an issue many are experiencing, as it is an account issue the only people who can help you are telephone support as they have access to account information whereas we the ambassadors don't.

Support are aware of the issue and will start an investigation once you call them - they need about 5-10 days to rectify (as this is what a few have been told).

Good luck if you need the number just ask.
