Good morning,

I tried cancelling my subscription on xbox gold, but I just received another payment request for the next month??????

Tried to cancel my subscription again today, and I always get the following "bad request - request too long"

I hope that now you can make this right for me.

xbox live gold

I tried to cancel my subscription on xbox live gold since more than 3 months. When I try to do this through my account I always get "HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long.", therefore I already send a message last month to cancel my
subscription. I did not get any reply instead I was billed again for the coming month.

Please cancel my subscription immediately. This is so wrong

How to Turn off auto renewal or cancel Xbox LIVE membership

How to turn off auto renewal

It is recommended that you cancel your Xbox LIVE Gold Membership using the option of turning off automatic renewal. If auto renewal is "off", your membership will expire at the end of its current term.

Steps to follow:

1) If you are not already signed in, click Sign In at the upper right hand corner and sign in using your Microsoft account.

2) Proceed to My Account.

3) Click Change next to automatic renewal. Change the setting to OFF

You will be able to continue enjoying all the benefits of Xbox LIVE Gold Membership until your paid membership time expires.

Note:

If you want to cancel or disable your Xbox LIVE Gold Membership immediately, you should contact Xbox support. Use the Request a Call from Support option on the official Xbox Contact Us page. Your account cannot be canceled through chat or email.

If you disable your account immediately, you will lose the time remaining on your membership subscription.

If you are on a 2 Year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract, and you want to cancel before the end of the 2 years, you will be charged an Early Termination Fee and other applicable taxes. Once the two-year agreement period is over, your account will not be renewed automatically.

You can cancel the 2 Year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract using the option of self-cancel your subscription on Xbox.com

It keeps on saying that I already own Xbox live gold already for the 3 months subscription but I still can’t get online on any of my games and also it still won’t let me put any codes in as well.However my subscription said that it’s cancelled for the Xbox live gold but I never cancelled that ever.

I have the same issue.. I bought 12 months of xbox live gold 2 months ago.. and I canceled my 1 month free trial of xbox ultimate.. when I did that it cancelled my xbox live gold, I should have 10 months of gold left over.. your saying they just steal
my money and theres no way to just continue on gold I should have unless I buy it all over again?

If you redeemed 12 months of Gold and then purchased Ultimate, your Gold subscription transforms to Ultimate, since Ultimate already contains Gold.

If you did not cancel the Ultimate subscription, you must still have it active and it should expire in approximately 8 months, the Gold to Ultimate conversion is 3:2, that is, for every 3 months of Gold you get 2 months of Ultimate.

You can manage (and cancel) your subscriptions including your Gold Ultimate subscription at

https://account.microsoft.com/services

Usually, those subscriptions don't "expire", unless you bought a prepaid gift card for that service.

If you bought a one month promotional offer, then this automatically changes to a full price subscription, unless you actively cancel it before the renewal date.

So please check the subscriptions website to see if it hasn't already renewed!

If your subscription IS already cancelled, it might be that someone else in your family has an active Gold subscription and is sharing that to your console through the "Home Console" setting of the Gold owner account.
