Xbox/Gold/Game share/PC Playanywhere

Hi - searching for my answer on here for days and now resigned to posting as eyes going funny

Current situation

Me and Daughter game share on xbox (each other consoles set as home), we are part of the same Microsoft family as well already (both my children are)

question: i have a digital code for a play anywhere title - whilst i know that once either myself or my daughter claim this title then we will both get access to it via xbox - how does it work for pc (playanywhere) ?

If i claim the code - could she install it on her pc?

i believe this will be the first title any of us have this is play anywhere compatible.... hence the question.. as i have no existing titles to test out my theories.

Will home console doesn't apply to pcs it's a console exclusive

HOWEVER your daughter can play it on her pc if you redeem it on your account but youe account has to be signed in on the Xbox app on her pc

This means you cannot be signed in anywhere else including your console or pc

Seeing as it is not part of the PlayAnywhere library you will need to purchase the PC version.

Two things first

Xgu for pc isnt the same as xbox

The titles are different except for playanywhere titles

2nd you arr better off usung their profile to do xgu

Because they need to be able to signin and download the games

Only one login at anytime

So you wouldnt be able to use your account while they are sigmed in

Xgu doesnt share om console only the gold patt of it is

if it is an xbox playanywhere title, you will be able to play the game either on an xbox one or a pc

I think you bought it for PC, not for xbox console. if the game is not xbox playanywhere, you can only play it on PC
