    Be grateful that they're even doing this promotion for Xbox 360 and Xbox 1. You do get some really good ones, sometimes. If you want to see $500 graphics in action, play Forza Horizon 2, Zoo Tycoon, Halo MCC especially the Halo 2 Campaign mode. Since Halo
    MCC had kind of a rough launch (15GB Day 1 Update, broken multiplayer and some broken achievements) maybe they'll offer that for free one day. M does have over US$170 billion in assets and when it usually takes a couple like 20 years to pay off a home loan
    on even a $500,000 house.

    When Xbox games with gold existed u get Xbox 360 games free and Xbox one games free. The Xbox one games u claim for free are only free with a gold subscription when it was gold. Now it's gamepass core. But when Xbox games with gold was a thing the Xbox 360 games u get for free are permanent. But Xbox one games are not. U have to keep ur gamepass core to have access to your free to play Xbox one games with gamepass core that u claimed with gold back then.

    in order to download Games with Gold for free, you will need a paid Xbox Live Gold subscription, any free trials will not count as Gold to allow purchasing those Games with Gold games for free

    No. They are not making Xbox Live Gold free. They are only make games that are "free to play" such as fortnite for example, not require you to have gold to play online.

    Other games that are not "free to play" will still require a paid Xbox Live Gold subscription in order to play them online.

    There is no date announced yet for when free to play games could be played online without gold.

    Xbox One Games with Gold games require that you have a gold subscription in order to continue playing them for free. If you renew your gold, you'll be able to play Forza 6.

    The Lego game is not free as part of Games with Gold. It's just free as part of a separate promotion. So that one is free to own whether you continue gold or not.
