Xbox gold Free codes don't work

Hi, I have several free Xbox live codes which I received either with my Xbox one ordered direct from Microsoft, or with Xbox one games and none work.

My gold membership has ended and I wanted robust these over the next few days and each time I try to use a code it gives me an error code and fails to work

I have checked the codes online and they have no answers

xbox gold code don't work

My friend purchased me a 3 month xbox gold live code, but I can't activate it. It says that the code was purchased in a different region, but we both live in germany and my xbox/microsoft settings are set right.

He also gifted me a game (FIFA 18) and i had no problems activating it.

I got the Gold trial but it didn't work and it was free and some gold codes don't work

Hi,

the only advice i can give ist to call the support If the code will not be accepted on your console or on xbox.com.

Hi Fratpack44. From my understanding if you have had a NORMAL (1, 3 or 12 month) XBL Gold Subscription, you cannot use free trial codes anymore on the One. They are meant for new accounts.

I do not know if this is official or not, but that is what I have been hearing.

if you are trying to enter more then one trial code like 48hour or 7day codes you can only enter one at a time and must wait till the previous one expires

they do not stack

only gold membership does and trial cards are not gold memberships only temporary trials for multiplayer for specific games

raptr.com/.../xbox-live-free-gold-subscription. This promotion only works if you currently have an Xbox silver account, if you're currently a gold member the promotion code won't work.

The is a joke. i make a account and it says 1 month gold free memebership when i try and get the 1 month gold free memebership it says error code and i don't know how to fix it ? would you mind telling me and other if you can or if it isn't going to work
and if not does it mean i need to buy a gold memebership for it to work ?

Trial codes don't change your account status to gold and do not work with all games or game modes.

Do we need a gold status to play online? What is the point of the free live code?

Trial codes don't change your account status to gold. You can download the Xbox One Games with Gold with a trial because a gold subscription is required to keep playing it for free, but a full gold subscription is required in order to download 360 Games
with Gold games.
