    Hey guys, I am new to the Xbox Gold membership. So if I purchase a game (FIFA 18) with the gold membership discount, would I still have the game after my membership had ended? or do I have to pay extra

    I also read this in that thread in regards to discounts.

    Gold Family Pack discounts and membership extensions

    If you currently have an Xbox LIVE Gold Membership, you will get a discount on your Gold Family Pack membership based on how many months remain on your existing Gold Membership.

    The discount varies by region, and is calculated by first taking the price of an Xbox LIVE Gold 12-month membership divided by 12 months (Gold monthly rate). The Gold Family Pack discount that you receive is the Gold monthly rate, multiplied by the number of
    months left on your existing Gold membership (rounded up to the next full month), then subtracted from your purchase price.



    Note     Your Gold Family Pack membership starts on date of your purchase. Your credit card is charged immediately, after any discounts are applied.

    hi I have a discount for gold on Xbox for 33% off, when I go to purchase it’s not deducting the discount?

    Why am I getting disconnected on when I ask about the same issue?

    Are you be chance sharing gold with someone? If so, you won't get the gold discounts. You have gold on your account directly, to use the gold discounts.

    As for prices within a game, Xbox/Microsoft has no power over that if it's not connected to the Microsoft store.

    Wrong price or less discount in Brazil!

    If you're comparing the 2 prices shown on the store, the first price is the discount for non-gold members, not the regular price. So you're just seeing the difference in price between the gold discount and non-gold discount.

    Thats a good point, Brandiesel! Sales do come up sometimes on retailer sites for Xbox Live Gold time cards.

    Keep in mind Gold doesnt just get you online features, it also gets you free games every month and discounts on the Xbox Store. Sometimes even discounts on discounts!
