XBOX GOLD CODE DOESNT WORK

if your previous subscription was one that was a special offer then it will have to end first before you can redeem a new subscription.

So it may be best thing for now is to wait until the current subscription expires and try again at that time

When a pre paid card is purchased from a retailer to make sure that no one is just going into the store and taking the cards and not paying for them when they are purchased the retailer needs to activate the card.

So if you are getting a message saying that the card number you are getting is inactive that means that the retailer has not activated the card.

Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours for the retailer system to show cards active. If it has been past the 24 hours you would need to talk to the retailer and get them to activate the card for you.

can u please h elp me because i just brought my xbox gift card yesterday and it say the it is not active can u please do something about this

Xbox Support Team are the ones who are able to investigate prepaid code issues. It is possible the prepaid code may have been redeemed on a different account that is on the console.
We recommend checking the
subscription section of all Microsoft accounts in your possession. If the code was redeemed on a different account that you have access to, we recommend contacting the
Xbox Support Team in order to resolve the issue. Be sure to let us know the results!

If the code does not work, try using the code on your computer or mobile.
