    I have one console (360) with the Gold online membership in my name with my own gamer tag and my question is. can i add my son, set up an email in his name so that he can get his own gamer tag so that he can play on my membership...or do i have to get another
    gold membership in his name? sorry, i hope you can understand my question. im new to this. thanks!

    Hi. My son has played a lot af games using my Xbox live profile. He has his own gamertag and I want to buy a gold membership to him. Can I transfer all his achievements, DLC etc to his Gamertag? or does he have to continue to use
    my Gold account to play his previous games?

    My son has a gold membership on his 360. I don't have a gold membership. If I add my son's profile to my new Xbox One, then it will give me gold membership as well?

    no theres no way you can do this on the 30 as they removed that I hink a year ago but for the xbox one yo can gold share up too 9 people like your son can share your gold

    the family account was discontinued months ago so yes your son needs his own gold membership for his tag to be able to play online

    I dont want to change my gamer tag. What i'd like to do is set my son up with his own tag....so he can play with his own friends...under his own gamer tag. He plays under his tag..I play under my tag..Totally separate

    Xbox LIVE GOLD second user.

    If your son does not have a Gold membership he will not be able to play online games. You can share your membership with him on the Xbox One though. Go to Settings and scroll right until you see Add to Family. Add your son there and he will be able to
    use your Gold membership on his account.
