Xbox Gold and Game Pass Ultimate

I renewed my subscription of game pass ultimate to cancel it, then i went and bought a 12 month subscription of gold without knowing it would convert to only a month of ultimate and now im down 80 bucks and dont believe i should have to pay another 80
because i was scammed of the rest of my gold subscription aswell as not having the money to throw at a whole nother 12 month gold
