Xbox gold 3 month not working

I got off with customer support a little while ago and the lady (Marleen, you were very helpful) But she took these 2 credit cards I was taking off of my account, but I had purchased 3 months of xbox live beforehand, and after she removed the credit cards
It now has me as a silver account so it's like I never bought the gold. What could be the issue?

I have redeemed my 3 month code , Xbox froze and won’t let me online just asks me to sign up for gold , retry the 3 month subscription code and it say code already redeemed ? Not happy I have already paid and still not working ,

Hi!

Did you contact them initially to remove the payment options?

And before they remove the card, was your subscription active?

If you requested to remove the card and you were already charged for the 3 months subscription within 30 days or so. It is possible that they have refunded you the 3 month charge.

It is possible that they have refunded you the 3 month charge. Because they cannot remove payment options if there is an active subscription. And the only way is to cancel Gold and refund.

Hi There, are you certain it was 3 months gamepass ultimate and not just gamepass or Xbox Llive Gold? If you convert 3 months of gamepass or Xbox Live gold to ultimate it is only 2 months of ultimate and not 3.

^^ They don't work with any type of gold subscription whether it's a 1 month,3 month or 12 month sub.

I was thinking of just paying the £1 for 3 months then cancelling and reverting back to xbox live gold.

Is that not how it would work?
