    Xbox goes to a black screen but the guide button still works.


    I hit the guide button after I was done playing a game tonight and went to the home screen it brought me to the home screen for a second or two then went to a black screen. I can still play games and go to settings and everything through the guide button
    but I can't do anything on the home screen. All connections are fine and I even tried a hard reset and that didn't fix the issue. Currently, I have it off and unplugged for the night and I will see what happens in the morning. If anyone has any other suggestions
    of what it could be I'd love to hear them.

    Home screen fades to black.

    The home screen shows for about 5 seconds then fades to black...but the guide button still works.

    I can navigate the system through the guide button but it's annoying not having a home screen

    After playing a game it works for a few minutes but will go right back to fading out again.

    Xbox One X Black Sceen After Setup

    Right after I setup my xbox one x it goes to a black screen. The guide button works but the main area is a black. It happened right after the setup when you pick if you want automatic updates for games and console. Then a vid shows but then it goes black.
    It is suppose to show a screen if you want a tutrial or no thanks. That never happens. Please fix this because I think the process is going south.

    Hey Guys! This issue should be resolved now, give the console a power cycle and you should be good to go. Give it a shot and let me know how it goes!

    Hard reset EVERY day...

    My xbox is stuck on the black screen.. it comes onto the green loading screen and then goes black and stays like that.. u have Done the hard reset and also where you unplug it and we're you hold down the eject button and power button at same time and it
    still won't move past the black screen :( any ideas ?

    Yup, still have sound and can still manipulate the console, you can here the menu tones and chimes as you borrow buttons after the screen goes black.

    It seems that it's just the display setting keeps changing when trying to launch Netflix, and them the screen goes black.

    I did a hard reset on my xbox one and got the green loading screen and then when it is finished loading it goes directly to a black screen. It is not a display issue. I also tried the holding down the multiple buttons (waited for second beep etc.)
    on the xbox and it hasn't worked either... still the same black screen
