xbox glitching need help

my xbox has been having issues for sometime now. Whats happening is that I have to spam the A button to get it to select anything on the dashboard or in apps such as upload/studio. it doesnt do this in games tho. anyone know whats going on and how to fix?

Im temporarily console banned and i don't know why i think i have been hacked or something because i play legit, no boosting, no hacking, no glitching so i need help.

 

Need friends for strikes

I need friends to do strikes with. A lot of my current friends stopped playing Destiny so now most of the are just interested in glitching the new DLC which I'm not interested in doing. I just need help on strikes.

 

You may please do a system cache reset and check if your problem persists.

To do this, please hold the powerbutton for about 15 seconds and keep it holding even when the one turns off after some seconds. Wait for the power supply to change the color to orange and then restart the console.

To try to better describe whats going on, I am on the dashboard right now after having done what you suggested. I am trying to select destiny. every time i hit A i see the Icon on screen react by pulsing but does not activate. I have to do a rapid double
or tripple tap for it to work.

 

oh and again, as soon as I get into destiny this problem stops.

 

Thats quite unusal then. Would you mind doing a factory reset?

 

Go to settings / system and choose restore factory defaults or use this guide:

support.xbox.com/.../reset-console-to-factory-defaults

If you have an external drive attached you should transfer all games prior to the reset on the external drive so you do not need to reinstall them. Your profile and your savegames are stored in the cloud.

If even the factory does not fix your problem you should consider having your console serviced.

 

sorry for it taking so long. I did the factory reset and it did not help. Im also having issues getting my NAT to open. nothing I have done has gotten it open. I did the port forwarding for all the ports needed for the xbox one.

I really need help with both these issues

 

Ok, well, as even the factory reset did not fix the issue with the A button I'd really recommend you better phone the support team on your issue, tell them what you've tried already on my advice and have them service your console.

Unfortunately I don't think there is any other option at the moment.
