    Xbox glitching and or screen blackout lead to shutdown


    My Xbox will start glitching and then eventually I won’t be able to control anything on the screen. The internet will then lose access and I how to shut it off and unplug the power and plug it back in after that it doesn’t have any issues for the rest of the day but the next day it will do it again. Today was different this time it glitched buzzed and the screen went black and my Xbox shut off on its own. If this is a hardware issue can anyone tell me what part I would need to fix or what’s wrong with it?

    I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing some issues with your console.

    Based on the information you have shared, I have to say it does seem likely for your console's problem to be hardware-related.

    • If you don't mind, I'd appreciate it if you could answer the following questions.

    - May I ask which Xbox model you are using?
    - Do you have any external devices plugged into your console?
    - Is this happening with multiple games?
    - Have you gotten an overheating warning upon turning your console on?

    • Regarding parts to be fixed or assistance disgnosing your console's hardware; unfortunately, users on this forum can't discuss or take part in any self-repair process. My apologies.

    Screen blackout

    Same here and same LG OLED TV...

    I've seen the problem, black screen, a few time yesterday after setting it up but it's mainly when watching TV. I was using my high end HDMI cables but last night I removed the one that goes from Xbox One X to TV and replaced it with the cable that came
    in the box. No issues so far since doing that.

    I've had mine plugged directly into the wall socket the whole time. I have HDMI from cable box to Xbox One X IN and the HDMI that came with the Xbox One X from it to the ARC (HDMI 2) input on the TV.

    I'll keep an eye on it and report back if I see the issue again. If you are not using the HDMI cable that came with the Xbox One X then I'd maybe try it and see if it helps.

    y wont the achievements unlock for me(spoilers)

    I know there is a glitched achievement called "Complete Blackout" which requires you to destroy all of the satellite uplinks. Mine unlocked after I destroyed 22 out of 24 uplinks. For others it unlocks at 23. That achievement of yours might also be glitched.

    Getting Disconnected

    I use the xbox headset that plugs into the controller. I'm currently on playing alone without using my headset and i got booted before i could drop into a game of Blackout mode on Call of Duty.

    The network screen currently says:

    The name of my network

    IPv4

    NAT Type: Unavailable

    xbox.com/xboxone/Teredo

    Service info is unavailable
    Based on this reply your should do a Full shutdown of the console from

    Settings>Power and startup>Turn off>Full shutdown.

    Wait... And Once the shutdown is complete remove the console power cable then power off the router and turn the router back on.

    Wait until the router is fully operational again before turning on TV then turn on console LAST of all.

    If all is well you should have a NAT type and if IP6 is enabled you will see IP4 and IP6 addresses.

    You would need to buy anew one since you missed the shutdown by 6 months you had 2 years lead time and emails
