Xbox Giftcard code already redeemed

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are experiencing difficulties with being able to redeem a game onto your account.

I would have you verify your
payment options first to verify that the that the funds you added to your account are not already displaying there, as there are instances where it can take some time to display these correctly onto your account.

If you are still unable to see the funds on your account, I would recommend that you conatact Xbox customer support as they may be able to provide additional insight on the status of the contents of that code.

Please be aware that there is some needed maintenance going on with our services, so we're going to give you the best option for requesting a chat at this time.

From the MS Contact page here https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/, click on Contact support in the browser instead & type the following into the virtual agent chat:

Chat > when it asks you to select your product, choose Xbox > Select your issue, choose Payments & purchases

You should see the option for a chat & we strongly recommend you select it. We tried this out & the chat option is still there, and they'll be able to help you with getting everything set up.

But do i use my xbox account to play minecraft?

And you can redeem a code for minecraft java and bedrock edition from a xbox giftcard rather than a microsoft giftcard right?

I got a €10 giftcard and I went to the store to redeem them (i had 2) 1st one went in but my second didn't. When I entered the code i made sure it was the right code. Everything was fine until I pressed confirm. It was loading/stuck for about 20 second.
Then it said code was already redeemed. I thought it went in but no. I still only had €20 in my account. I had €10 already from before and i usead my 1st giftcard too. I checked my microsoft order history and it said i had redeemed the giftcard for €0. I was
mad. I hope i can get my €10 back. Please Microsoft read this! I really need my money back.

Just curious how someone would have stolen your gift card?

and yet you still have the code for it that you can type in and see that it has been redeemed.

and how you can see what time and the IP address that it was redeemed on? Where do you see that information at?

we traded giftcards, and his giftcard code was already used.

I can't see the IP, I thought it was the IP but it appears to be the transaction code or something like that. Anyway I know I won't get it back I would just like to file a complaint so MS can block the account that redeemed the code.
