Xbox gift from a different region

Hi, I believe two of the main reasons gift giving is restricted to within the same reason are because of price differences across global regions, and because of different regional laws regarding digital purchases such as refund policies. I'm not 100% certain,
but I believe these are main factors in why gift giving is restricted by region and might be impossible to implement otherwise on the current Xbox One storefront.

Your best bet is probably to try to arrange for them to gift you the corresponding funds using a service like PayPal as suggested above if possible, and then use the funds to purchase the bundle directly. Hope this helps!

I haven't tried it myself but you could try to purchase it or a gift card from the Canada Microsoft site and then send him the code I believe you should be able to use your PayPal account to complete the order hope this helps

The system also mentions that the code will only work in your region when you're purchasing the game as a gift .

There isn't a solution to this sadly. You can only redeem gift cards from your own region.

Far as I understand it, there is something that appears when the person goes to buy it.

As to what you can do, there isn't anything, no....not unless you want to risk your account by using things like a VPN

Best thing to do is to get whoever bought the code to refund it and then send you the money via Paypal or whatever
