Discus and support Xbox Gift Cards in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; How come I cannot buy avatar items on the Xbox one console or the website with a Xbox gift card?     How come I cannot buy avatar items on the Xbox one console or the website with a Xbox gift card? I really don't want to put a PayPal account or credit card in if I don't have to.

    Xbox Gift Cards

    The avatar store is set up on the same store as the 360. Unfortunately the One store has never been updated to work with the Microsoft account balance for purchasing items from the 360 store. Hopefully once the new avatars are released you may be able to
    purchase the items with the funds.

    Why can’t we use Microsoft account balance to purchase digital xbox gift card?

    Gift cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards. The Microsoft account balance is essentially the same as a gift card since funds typically come from Xbox gift cards.

    There is xbox live game pass gift cards same with xbox live gold gift cards. Currency gift cards can't really play for subscription payments.

    You cannot use a gift card to buy another gift card. Such as Xbox. As it don't work that way. You have to either have physical money (like a credit card) to buy things on the Xbox store or buy an Xbox gift card in the stores.

    Again, you cannot do it with a gift card
