    Hi. we purchased xbox gift card on amazon uk. we are in Republic of Ireland. usually these countries are same region. however when we trued to redeem the gift card, it doesn't allow us to because the gift card is gbp 50 and our xbox account is in eur. Amazon will not refund the gift card because they produced the redeem code . is there any way Microsoft can just apply the balance in Euro? technically 50gbp is worth more, but we just don't want to lose the gift card...anybody knows if it can be done??

    Gift cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards. The Microsoft account balance is essentially the same as a gift card since funds typically come from Xbox gift cards.

    There is xbox live game pass gift cards same with xbox live gold gift cards. Currency gift cards can't really play for subscription payments.

    You cannot use a gift card to buy another gift card. Such as Xbox. As it don't work that way. You have to either have physical money (like a credit card) to buy things on the Xbox store or buy an Xbox gift card in the stores.

    Again, you cannot do it with a gift card
