    Just bought a gift card fromTarget came home and xbox said not activated contact merchant I called Target they said they did activate it to contact you.

    I have dealing with this issue since 2:15pm today. This is also not the first time I have issue with xbox gift card. Please help my son

    Why can’t we use Microsoft account balance to purchase digital xbox gift card?

    Gift cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards. The Microsoft account balance is essentially the same as a gift card since funds typically come from Xbox gift cards.

    There is xbox live game pass gift cards same with xbox live gold gift cards. Currency gift cards can't really play for subscription payments.

    You cannot use a gift card to buy another gift card. Such as Xbox. As it don't work that way. You have to either have physical money (like a credit card) to buy things on the Xbox store or buy an Xbox gift card in the stores.

    Again, you cannot do it with a gift card
