    Hello!
    i received a gift from the United States, my xbox region and even my microsoft account is set to united states but my xbox still says that it was purchased in another region. Id be grateful if someone could help, ive been trying to solve it for days

    If you bought a gift card from another region, go to your setting and change the region of the xbox to the region you bought the gift card from, Redeem it, and then you can bo back to your previous region.

    The best way would be to purchase a Xbox Gift card for their region from an online store such as amazon. You say you both live in Europe, so purchase the gift card from the amazon site that is in the same region as your friend. That way you are guaranteed a gift card for the region your friend is in.

    Gift cards will only work in the region they were created for. There is no way to change the region of a gift card.

    No there are not sorry.

    Every region has their own Xbox Live service.

    If you sell region free gift cards, this regions gonna suffer.

    The only way to support Xbox Live in your country and to get more out of it, is to buy gift cards for and in your region.

    It's to verify your region. Xbox gift cards are region locked, so they will only work in the region they are created for. So even if you made a US account, you would have to purchase a US gift card.
