    I bought a gift card code off of GameStop for 20$.I typed it in and it came up with an error (I forgot what error ).So I backed out and put it in a couple of times and it said that it was already redeemed so I looked at my balance and it was still at only 00.03,so I kept typing it in and it still has not updated,also it is not under my order history,I ordered it today(3/3/22).What should I do?

    yes, gift cards work on the xbox. He'll buy the gift card and redeem the code on his xbox account.

    The £10 must be either on a card that says "Xbox Gift Card £10" or you must purchase an Xbox digital gift card code on Amazon for £10 that you redeem here:
    https://redeem.microsoft.com/enter

    You can't redeem Amazon gift cards or currency in Amazon accounts for currency in your Microsoft/Xbox account - you must buy an Xbox Gift Card (or code) with that money on it.

    How to gift a giftcard that you redeemed on microsoft rewards.

    If it's a gift card that sends you a code, then you would just give them the code. If it's like an Xbox gift card, those are automatically deposited into your account so you can't gift those.
