    Xbox gift card code not working


    Last weekend i purchased an xbox gift card for $25. I put the code in several times, from multiple devices. I keep getting “code not valid”. I confirmed with merchant they activated it. I did the whole online code replacement form, giving microsoft copies
    of everything. This was wednesday and they have ghosted me. I’ve emailed them twice since asking for follow up.

    How long does it take to get a replacement code?! Is there no 1-800 # i can call? I’m super frustrated with the terrible customer service!

    yes, gift cards work on the xbox. He'll buy the gift card and redeem the code on his xbox account.

    What kind of gift card is it? I've never heard of non MS gift cards for xbox. You can always try inputting the code and see if it works.

    Thanks but i wasnt talking about an Xbox Gift Card but a Microsoft (Store) Gift Card (Microsoft Currency) since it is directly Microsoft shouldnt it work on promo-code for Dev mode payment ?

    Did you buy a pre-paid gift card from a retailer or local convenient store? Or did you buy a

    digital code online    ?

    With either method, you still need to redeem the code to your Microsoft Account, and you can do so in many different ways. Take a look at this guide "Redeem
    a gift card or code to your Microsoft account    " with steps on how to redeem your 100 dollar gift card.
