XBOX gift card can't use!!!

Hello,

I entered a Xbox gift card of 50$ as explained on the microsoft website but when my son buy stuff, Microsoft is still taking money from my credit card. It doesn't recongize the 50$ amount in the microsoft account (account.microsoft).

What is wrong?

What do you mean gift card? Do you mean Xbox currency card? You can't use gift cards.

 

Can't use $5 gift card reward

Hi;

Xbox live sent me $5 gift card like 15 days ago. I live in Turkey so our currency is Turkish lira. I can't use dollar on my Xbox as you know mate. So can we exchange dat $5 gift card to Turkish lira gift card?

 

Maybe is not your case but just want to let you know that your balance can be used to purchase games and content but cannot be use to purchase suscriptions like Xbox Live Gold, EA Access for that you need to purchase a suscription card or buy directly using
a valid payment method.

What content are you trying to purchase exactly? As Drakken mentioned, it's not possible to use currency on the account to pay for a subscription, but you should be able to use it for purchasing Xbox One games for example.
