    xbox getting hot


    i just brought a xbox from my brother i think it is a slim model anyway after a couple of minuetes of turning it on it starts to get pretty warm then hot is that normal also i cant really hear a fan spinning or hear the xbox making any noises is this normal?
    it is also laid down flat with nothing at all on top of it

    Connection Problems In Australia.

    Where is your Xbox failing to connect? Is it connecting to the Hot spot ok, and getting an IP address, but can't connect to Xbox Live? Or, is it not even getting connected to the hot spot at all?

    hey guys, i just bought xb1 a week ago n i need to know its normal console getting hot when playing a game? its a quite hot is not warm. There have something problem on my console or what?

    Yes, all slims will get hot on the top, it's the way they made it. This is actually a good sign, IF it's just the top vent and the casing area near the vent. If it's hot on the side of the casing over the DVD drive and disc tray, then you may have a problem.

    the only part that is hot is the top vent nothing else at all is hot so thanks xbox getting hot :) was just a bit worried it might mess up

    Hold your hand above the vent,if you can feel the air being blown out your fan will be working fine and it won`t overheat.

    Its fine. Its supposed to blow hot air from the top. That's how its built.

    Also a lot of electrical equipment will get hot.

    Even some mobile phones get hot when charging etc.

    Don't worry about it. Your Xbox is fine. xbox getting hot :)
