Xbox gets dropped from internet constantly

Hello,

I have been a Microsoft customer for several years and for the most part I am pleased with the products and services offered. The problem I am having though is that when I moved into my new place, my Xbox one s will only stay connected to the internet (and
xbox live) for 17-27 minutes. It is becoming infuriating when playing a game with friends and my character freezes then I get told I was dropped. I need to enter the password for the internet again and it will appear all fine until 17-27 minutes in the future
when I need to repeat this never ending cycle. I have had days when I stay logged in all day, but those are few and far between. On the "network settings" portion of network, it says to go to xbox.com/xboxone/Teredo. I tried following that link but haven't
had much luck for help. None of my other roommates, some of which are further from the router than I am, and all of which have xboxes, are having this same issue. If someone could give me a guiding hand that would be greatly appreciated. Again, always enjoyed
Xbox but this is getting a little ridiculous.

Same here, called up ISP and got new router and speeds are ridiculous fast now with nice stable download speed

The problem is not your network but the Router, to me it gave the same problems I solved by replacing it. Opuure by opening NAT ports and setting a static IP address https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/networking/network-ports-used-xbox-live

I was having a similar problem a couple years ago. I called my ISP and they come and replaced my modem/router and existing lines. I have never had any issue since.

I know it sounds really dumb, but call your ISP and tell them theses issues and they can help with it, I had the same issues awhile back and they helped with some internal settings to make it easier for me to game and I have had very few disconnects since

Hello, I'm not sure if this is exactly the solution, but I suggest following the steps in the link provided (the Toredo option should be near the bottom of the page):

Also, I'm guessing that you are using wifi, do you have access to hook up your Xbox via ethernet? If you can, I believe that would help (again, if it's available).
