    XBOX GENERAL QUESTION PLEASE HELP!


    I am using the controller I got with my xbox one, but I think it might have got mixed up with my friends so how can I tell the xbox one controller is the same one I had before?

    XBOX GENERAL QUESTION PLEASE HELP!

    Unless you knew the serial number of the controller before the mix up you don't. Unless of course you only had your controller synced with your own xbox at all times, and his with his xbox. In which case the controller that still turns on your xbox and
    not his is the one you brought with the box.

    No I don't have the serial number of it before and I when I went on my xbox I had to sync it again but im guessing that's because I synced it at his

    You are correct, So you cant really know you have his controller unless you had some sort of identifiable markings or batteries in it that you know he would not have.
