It may mean that you're signed in on the wrong account on the website. Make sure that it's the correct Microsoft email address by checking it from your Xbox Series S console.

"On the Home screen, look in the upper-left corner. You should see your gamertag, name, and the email that's used to sign in rotating there."

Or you can check on your setting:

"1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Sign-in, security & passkey.

3. Under Show on Home, you'll see the email or phone number you use to sign in."

My xbox console account is under an old email address I no longer have access to. My current email address is connected to a random tag: VehementWord701. I have no idea how to update the email address of my real gammertag without getting a 'That name is already taken' error.
