Xbox Gaming Services not installing on my new laptop

I just got a new laptop that does not have gaming services installed, and when I tried to install a game from the Xbox app, it said that gaming services was required to install the game. When I tried to install gaming services, it kept on saying "something happened on our end". I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app, restarting my laptop, and various other fixes, but nothing worked. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks for reaching out. I followed the steps you said, but the problem has not been solved. Is there anything else I can try?

Please make sure there are no pending updates then kindly right-click the Start button on your taskbar, and then select Windows Terminal (Admin). In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:

Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -alluser

make sure all windows updates are installed, all of them, then open the microsoft store and do all app updates after windows updates then restart and try.
