    Xbox Gaming Services keep corrupting


    I don't know why but Microsoft must've thought it was a good idea to ruin the game pass which we pay for by adding something that constantly goes wrong with each update.

    Can't believe I pay for a service that I can't use half the time because I spend it reinstalling an ecosystem for the games. Doesn't even show installed games on my library when it breaks so have to manually open all my games.

    Lost my save on the cloud?

    I had a bunch of my Skyrim game saves on the cloud. They immediately went corrupt. I never saved to the cloud again. My new save files are no longer corrupt.

    This cloud save garbage, much like all the garbage Microsoft keeps adding to the Xbox Live service (Youtube, Fios, UFC, ESPN) is just more stupidity they keep adding to the service which only makes things more laggy and unstable. I wish they would just
    stop and keep things the way they used to be.

    Mods cannot be used on Xbox, either PC or console

    If you have the Steam version your save is isolated to that service. Only MS store versions are PlayAnywhere. Please keep in mind that any modifications you may make to the game may make your save incompatible or corrupt it.

    Which country do you live in and which country is your gamertag set for? Usually this error happens because they are different.

    Try clearing your console's cache to see if that helps. If it doesn't then perhaps get an external USB drive and see if it can download there.

    Sorry to hear about what happened.

    Let's try to perform a factory reset on your console to remove potentially corrupted data or services on it. There's an option to keep your games and apps.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
    Select Reset console.
    On the Reset your console? Please choose “Reset and keep my games & apps”

    Is this the only game that affects your connection to Xbox LIVE?

    Could you check the game contents (regarding Sonic Generations) if it might have become corrupted or incomplete. Look for a yellow warning symbol. This will indicate that game contents is corrupted or incomplete.
