Xbox gameshare issue

So I was gamesharing with a friend of mine and I had lost their side of it after they got an Xbox one x. I've tried everything to fix it and he has me as his home Xbox but not me on his but he still has my games and I've used the home Xbox all 5 times

Forza 6 DLC issue

We gameshare on the same console, but as I stated the game works fine and so do most of the DLC so its definitely not a home xbox issue.

 

Can't use the game share option

I tried to use gameshare after getting a new Xbox and the gameshare said I've used it too many times and I haven't used it more than two times

You can only set your xbox home so many times then theres a wait period.

 

You are getting the concept of how the "Home Console" feature works wrong. When you say "Game Sharing" you usually mean "I give you my games, and you give me your games, and the 'sharing' is established, and if one side doesn't share, it should automatically
unshare the other side too". It does NOT work like that.

Basically, forget about the "We give games each other" concept.

If you are unable to play your friend's games, you can't do anything about that. The only person to rectify that, is your friend.

Your friend has to come over to your console, sign in with his own account, and set your console as his Home Console again.

It's up to you if you want to do the same. Even if you don't share your games with him, after he set your console as his home console, you will be able to play his games.

So it's not "Game Sharing". It's the Home Console family sharing.
