Xbox games won't launch

I've been experiencing a problem for a few days now on my xbox one where my downloaded games won't start. Some of my games start up perfectly but then some won't start at all. There's no error message at all but when I launch the game I get kicked back to
the home screen straight away. I've tried restarting my xbox one, factory reset, holding down the power button and even uninstalling and reinstalling the games. Nothing seems to work. I don't know what else to do! Has anyone else had this problem or know how
to fix it?

May be you game file while downloading too long time was corrupted. Any way try first power cycle, then redownload a game.

Hi! This sounds like an issue that might be fixed by performing a power cycle/hard reset. Please follow these instructions to make sure you are performing it properly:

Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console (you will notice if the console restarts itself automatically and needs a little longer to boot up)

If above doesn't work, it's also worth a try to remove your profile from the console and download it again afterwards. That way the console is forced to check for your game licenses again.

 

That's definitely an odd issue. If you have the games on an external drive try moving them to the internal. You could also try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds till it shuts down then unplug it and let it sit for 5 minutes to see
if that helps.

 

Hi. Please press and hold the power button on your console for 10 seconds to do a hard reset. Turn the console on and try again.

If that didn't work please navigate to the game under my games and apps and press the menu button and scroll down to saved data and select to delete all locally saved data. Your saved data will sync from the cloud once you open the game again
