    Xbox Games Won't Launch on New System


    None of the games from Gamepass will launch on my new system. I just upgraded to Alderlake and reinstall Xbox App and the games, but none of them will launch. One time I got an error code of 0x803F7000, but that was just once out of 20+ attempts at different games. When I click play nothing happens.

    These steps can help you, give it a try.

    Check for updates on Windows Update, update everything including optional/additional updates.

    1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app

    2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app in the Windows menu, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset. Do this with the games too.

    3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.

    4. Open the Microsoft Store app, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner>downloads updates>get updates and update everything.

    5. Restart your PC, log in to both apps and see if that solves the problem.

    Also, check that your region and time are correct.

    it's a new "feature(bug)" of the new xbox OS. it seems as though when xbox live core services start having problems the system doesn't like to launch games. if you have previously played that game before you can go into offline mode and then launch it. you
    won't be able to play online, but it's better than nothing.

    At launch of the new system there will be new 360 games and new next gen games launching at the same time. Of course you will be able to play 360 games on the new system.

    Since november 22nd,i got games that i still enjoy to play,wasn't disapointed with the dashboard and how to use Xbox one ( i saw several Xbox one presentation before launch),was surprise by Kinect fonctonality with the console and in game too....No missing
    features for me,because i didn't expect to have a clone of Xbox 360,didn't use some Xbox 360 features anyway and already knew what features won't be available at launch.....

    No regrets at all.....

    New Xbox? NO WAY-WASTE OF MONEY

    I won't be buying the new Xbox at launch, and probably won't for quite some time after... Maybe 6 months, maybe a year, I don't know exactly. All I do know is that I have way too many games to play, both retail and XBLA. I know I won't be finished with them
    by the time the new Xbox launches, but oh well.
