Xbox Games with Gold

Since I've never really taken advantage of Games with Gold yet, I had some questions related to the Assassins Creed Black Flag game. I am currently playing that game via a GameFly rental. If I download the games with gold version, would I be able to use
the save data from my current GameFly disk version? Ideally I would like to download the Games with Gold version yet continue my current play-thru. That way I could return my disk to GameFly and get the next game on my que. But I was afraid that if I downloaded
the GwG version it would wipe out my progress.

If anyone could clarify that, I would appreciate it.

Yes. All game saves will work on all games no matter if you're using a disc or a downloaded version of the game. The same applies to the 360.

as this:

"Games with Gold offer for paid Gold members only; active Gold membership required to play downloaded Xbox One games."

Xbox 360 games downloaded through Games with Gold are yours to keep. Should you re-subscribe to Xbox Live, your Games with Gold on the Xbox One will become available to play again.
