Xbox games with gold

Hello I'm having problems downloading x360 games for Xbox one, I'm gold member, when click on the see the price button I'm taken to confirmation page but after I click confirm I'll get message we are unable finish the transaction.. I think the problem
is my x360 profile was made in another country afterwards I have moved to uk so that might be the issue? However it was working a while ago,not sure what changed ? Is this common issue ? What can be done about this ?

Yeah, unless something has changed recently, you get to keep your Xbox 360 gold games.

But the Xbox One gold games you need to have an active subscription.

To answer your question, yes this only happens with free x360 games for Xbox one,there is no error code..only the message the action cannot be completed.. What I don't understand is it was working a month or two ago I have downloaded few free games for x360..
My guess the region code doesn't have anything to do with this.. must be some bug in the system ?

As you mentioned that you moved to a different country, I guess it would be a good idea if you migrate your account to your new country. You can follow these steps: Update Microsoft account if Moving to a New Country or Region

 

Yeah FreakRoach, I have problem changing the region for the x360,actually that was the first thing I have tried when the problem with the download started. All I'm gettin is a message saying sorry we are unable to change the region check the support page..
Seems I'm doomed ha, but I have purchased witcher 2 on Xbox store and had no problem paying for it or downloading it ? Even recently I have downloaded Split second with Xbox free games with gold..I don't understand what have changed ?
