Xbox games powers off my console

So I have a couple downloaded games on my console and when I try to play it the screen goes black and the console powers off. I tried restarting and power cycling but it still doesn't work.

Console Powers off

so ive seen posts that are somewhat like this, but not specificaly the same:

when ever i navigate away from a game and go to a different app or game, WITHOUT COMPLETELY QUITTING THE INITIAL GAME, and then navigate back to the game, the screen goes black, (sometimes i get the sound from the game) and then after a few seconds the entire
console shuts off.

This wouldnt be so big a deal except that the console seems to undergo some kind of hard reset. I cant turn it back on with the controller, (infact the controller stays on when this happens) nor can i use the xbox app on my phone to turn it on, i have to
turn it back on at the console. It then goes through a full start even though i have quick start enabled.

furthermore, this occurs with every game no matter what kind of game both digital and disc the exact same thing happens in fact i juat downloaded a trial version of conan and it happens with that game also

this seems to have started when i replaced the original controller with a new one

ive tried reseting everything yet nothing seems to fix any of this

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the games that are affecting your console?

Have you tried hard resetting your Xbox? (Holding down the power button until the Xbox shuts off)

 

Yes I've tried holding down the power button and i tried unistalling and reinstalling but it still does the same thing. I even tried a disc game and again when I try to play it the screen goes black and the console turns off.

Can you verify that you currently have the most recent console update? To find console’s operating system version:

1) Scroll left from Home to open the guide.

2) Select Settings.

3) Select All Settings.

4) Select System.

5) Select Console info & updates.

6) Your OS version is located in the third row down on the right.

You should have OS version: 10.0.10586.1100 (th2_xbox_rel_1602.160210-2122) fre released on 02/19/2016.

Which games are trying to play?

 

Dying light disc, i try to play it and it freezes then turns off my console

 

I'm having a similar issue trying to play Titanfall disc. It only gets as far as connecting to servers (pre-main menu, not top menu) and either shuts the console off, or console restarts itself. I confirmed all the basic info ( os/update version, game updates)
and have tried every option including all power-cycling and multiple uninstall/reinstall, both disk and digital. I really want to get back into the game and I'll try almost anything. All other games work fine, both disk and digital

 

Any scratches on the discs? I'd suggest trying a new one just to see if that's the problem.
