    Xbox games on the Xbox 360 slim


    I recently got a copy of Godzilla Destroy all Monsters Melee which is an original Xbox game that is also on the list of backwards compatibility games for the Xbox 360. The issue I am having is that when I start the game all I get is a black screen, the system recognizes that this is the game in the disc drive but the game wont actually start when I hit play. I do have an official Xbox 360 250 G hard drive plugged into the system so I know this is not the issue, I have also tried starting up Halo 2 and Star Wars Battlefront 2 with no success, I was however able to start up and play Xbox 360 games perfectly well so I know that it is not the disc drive either. I have trying to get this to work for a bit now and have tried to do some research into the issue but couldn't find anything too helpful.

    So will the xbox 360 slim 4gb take a hdd from a xbox 360 slim 250gb? And is the only differences the cases and the hdd capacity in the two slim xboxs

    Installing Halo Reach to the Hard Drive

    you will need to first get a transfer kit to move all your data from your old Xbox 360 to the slim Xbox 360.Also you will need to get a hard drive for the Xbox 360 slim to transfer all the data from your old Xbox to the slim Xbox 360.

    Warranty, Is only valid to XBOX 360 Slim & Slim Accessories.. [ie Slim HDD]

    xbox 360 hard drive not working

    For Original Xbox games to be playable on an Xbox 360, it needs to be an official Microsoft Hard Drive.

    However, there is no official 120GB hard drive for the Slim, only 250GB and 320GB.

    There is a 120GB for the original-style Xbox 360 and the later Elite, but not Slim.

    If you are using a Slim, the hard drive itself will be the problem and you will need an official one.
