Xbox games not starting

so this happened a few weeks ago but one day I turned on my Xbox, put my outlast game disk inside and was waiting to play it will show the game intro picture and the screen goes black then takes me to the dashboard. Ive tried hard restart, deleting my profile
(just incase it was glitched) checked for updates, tilt it in a 45 degree angle to see if the disk needed to be fall back into place without forcing it in, nothing has worked . Today I go to play a digital download of Friday the 13th and the same exact black
screen shows up and I'm taken right back to the dashboard. Does anyone have ANY idea what's going on ? Is it happening to anyone else? Has anyone found a solution. Why can't I play disks OR digital downloads ???

Game not starting.

Have you attempted to simply press the start button and quit the game? Also have you tried to do a hard reset through the settings? Also have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game as a last ditch effort? You could also contact EA about the problem

Hi,

yes in the forums it says you're silver(free), you will need to get gold to play. games with gold are only available to those who are gold. xbox one isn't like xbox 360 when you keep the game forever.

Now It lets me load app games like BF 1943. Still no to disc games.
