    Xbox games not downloading


    Trying to download games from the store (typically free games) and after it takes a while to download it finishes, but when I play it it directs to to the market to install it... even though it's installed and the icon is on my games and apps. I download
    it again and it happens again and again etc. So I'm stuck with the games I have got (I'm mostly trying to download games from the EA Access free games)

    I recently purchased a game on demand (dragons dogma) and I can not download it. I keep getting a popup saying "cant download" anywhere from 10 minutes to two hours.

    -no I am not trying to download anything else at the same time.

    -yes I have my console AND profile region set to Dubai (where i live)

    -I am running a wired connection.

    ok, so after the little alert pops up saying cant download, I can go back to the games store page and select download again. When i do this, the game resumes its download from the same position that it quit at. I have been doing this for the past two days,
    and it is only at ~40 percent. the game is quite big (about 7 gigs.)

    speedtest.net says I am running at ~16MBPS download, ~5MBPS upload and 12ms ping.

    My ISP is DU.

    Don't know my xbox model, but it is quite old. One of the old white ones.

    Sorry to hear you're having issues downloading Dragon's Dogma.

    It looks like you recently region migrated to your new home. This process can take up to 30 days to fully complete but it usually resolves within a few business days.

    You may want to try again in a few days or contact your local
    Phone Support     to inquire about your region migration.

    does anyone know how digital games downloaded from Xbox gold will work for the games downloaded on the XBOX 360 system? will they be downloaded on the XBOX 1 system?

    You cannot download games on in compatible hardware. An Xbox 360 will not download Xbox one games or series games

    Tried, but didn't work...

    By the way, i tried the following:

    • download exiting game (not game pass) from windows store, able to start the download
    • download game from Steam , able to start the download
    • download game from Epic, able to start the download
    • download game from Origin, able to start the download
    • download game from battle.net, able to start the download
    so to me it seems that only the xbox app is causing issues, is there a way to use the game pass without the xbox app? is there a way to download directly from the Windows store?

    On your console, sign in to Xbox Live. Go to games, and then select Browse Games or Search Games. Search for the game you want to download and select Confirm Download. If you can't download your game, see

    Troubleshoot Xbox 360 connection     to Xbox Live.

    Let us know if you're still unable to download games on your Xbox 360!

    I'm not understanding your post. If a download can't be completed when you have auto downloads enabled, the console shuts off
