Xbox games dont work

i bought payday 2 on xbox one from trusted game shop. waited 2 days for it to install and update went to play the game. title screen loads then goes black and now im having to reinstall the game again for another 2 days

GAMES DONT WORK?

IF your games dont work and give you a error code. The fix might be really easy. First off.

Are you a part of the preview program?

If so, the preview app got updated. The app name itself has changed. Its a hub or some garbage.

But if you automatically downloaded it. Then DELETE IT.

I download EVERY game i own and it tells me i cant play a single one. (More then 50) when i delete the worthless preview program/hub. I got ALL ACCESS back to my games.

The game was only free to play over the weekend. That event is over now. If you want to keep playing, you'll have to purchase the game.

i am very unhappy

After getting some rest. I found out I was wrong; the HDD is removable. Moot point because the On Demand games are on the drive. But cleaning dust out is never a bad idea.

I flipped the xbox to lay on it's side. It seemed a bit too warm. Should provide better air flow.

Then after checking back here and seeing no answers... I bit the bullet and formatted the HDD. And that seems to have done the trick. Start up is quicker. Downloaded Dark Souls that worked. Installed Mass Effect that worked.

Soooo now I'll get back to playing.
